This guest bed room was mainly used for people who stayed overnight. It is important because your guest need to sleep. Most of the people who would sleep here would stay 1 or 2 days.

Everyone on the plantation has children, so it is essential that they have a place to sleep. The bedroom would be for either boys or girls, since opposite sexes could not share a bedroom. There wasn't any fancy furniture, only a basic bed in each childrens bedroom.

This was probably one of the most important rooms on the plantation. Everyone needed to be well feed to work long, and hard hours of field work. The kitchen was busy all day long, with preparing meals, and cleaning up after meals.

The laundry room was used everyday. Everyone who lived on the plantation had clothes to be washed. Sheets and bedding had to be washed each week. Women would work from sun up until sun down to get the laundry done.
